Overview
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data from Tamanas at any time. This page provides instructions on how to delete your account and all associated data.
Option 1: Delete Your Account Through Settings
You can delete your account directly from within the application:
- Log in to your Tamanas account
- Navigate to Settings (click your profile icon in the top right)
- Scroll down to the "Account Settings" section
- Click the "Delete Account" button
- Type "DELETE" in the confirmation field
- Enter your password if you signed up with email/password
- Click "Delete My Account" to confirm
⚠️ Important Information
- This action is permanent and cannot be undone
- All your wishlists, wishes, and shared content will be deleted
- Your profile information and uploaded images will be removed
- Deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation
Option 2: Email Request
If you are unable to access your account or prefer to request deletion via email, you can contact us directly:
Send an email to:

- Your registered email address
- Your username (if you remember it)
- A clear statement that you wish to delete your account
We will verify your identity and process your deletion request within 72 hours. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Account Information: Email, username, name, phone number, profile photo, birth date, and address
- Wishlist Data: All wishlists you created, including titles, descriptions, and due dates
- Wish Items: All wishes you added, including titles, descriptions, links, prices, and images
- Uploaded Files: All images and files you uploaded (profile pictures, wishlist covers, wish images) are immediately deleted from our storage servers
- Social Connections: OAuth connections (Google/Facebook) and friend relationships
- Notifications: All notification history
- Sharing Data: All sharing permissions and access links you created
✓ Complete Data Removal
All your data, including uploaded images and files, is permanently deleted from both our databases and storage systems immediately when you delete your account. This action cannot be undone.
Third-Party Account Connections
If you signed up using Google or Facebook:
- Deleting your Tamanas account will remove all connections to these services
- Your Google/Facebook account itself will not be affected
- To revoke Tamanas' access to your Google/Facebook data, you should also:
- Google: Visit Google Account Permissions and remove Tamanas
- Facebook: Visit Facebook Apps and Websites and remove Tamanas
